Tragedy Strikes Nusairat Camp: Over 274 Killed in Israeli Attacks

Israeli occupation forces targeted Nusairat Camp in the central Gaza Strip today, resulting in the tragic loss of over 274 lives and leaving seven hundred more injured.

The airstrikes, which began in the early hours of the morning, struck densely populated areas within the refugee camp, causing widespread destruction. Eyewitnesses reported scenes of chaos and devastation as rescue workers struggled to reach those trapped under the rubble. Hospitals in the region, already overwhelmed by the ongoing genocide, are struggling to cope with the influx of casualties.

The Nusairat Camp, home to thousands of Palestinian refugees and displaced, has seen extensive damage. Residential buildings, shops, and community centers were reduced to rubble. Families were torn apart as homes collapsed, and the local infrastructure suffered significant damage, complicating rescue efforts.

Medical professionals at the nearby Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital have been working tirelessly, treating the wounded with limited resources. One of the doctors on duty, described the situation as dire. “We are running out of supplies, and the number of injured keeps increasing. We need international assistance urgently.

This latest attack comes amid escalating war against Palestinians in Gaza. The ongoing genocide has resulted in numerous casualties on the Palestinian side, with civilians bearing the brunt of the war.

Israeli officials have defended the attack, claiming they were rescuing 4 Israeli hostages in the camp as one of their army attackers was killed in the operation
